- Cooking a whole ham is super easy, believe it or not!
Let's get started!
- The brown sugar glaze is delicious.
- Moist, tender, and flavorful.
1
Take the ham out of the fridge. Remove the packaging and let it sit for 1 hour so it's not so cold. This will help with the cooking process.
2
Cook ham in a large roasting pan with a rack, adding half inch water. Wrap pan tightly with foil, and cook at 325 degrees F for 1.5 hours.
3
Combine brown sugar, maple syrup, dijon mustard, spices and seasoning, and fresh rosemary. Simmer until thickened, about 8 minutes.
4
Brush ham with the glaze, then return to oven at 400 degrees F, uncovered. Repeat 2 more times until caramelized.
5
Let them ham rest for 15 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
