Make the dough

Make the shortbread dough with the dry ingredients and cold butter cubes, using a pastry blender and your fingers until it resembles coarse crumbs. 

Pre-bake crust

Firmly press dough into a pan, and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. Let cool.

Make pecan filling

Combine the pecan filling ingredients in a bowl, and spread evenly over the pre-baked crust.

Bake

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-32 minutes or until set. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.

Serve

Serve pecan pie bars as is or with ice cream. Enjoy!
