In a large pot, heat some olive oil and sauté the onions, garlic, and fresh asparagus until softened.

Stir in the broth, and simmer for 10 minutes until the asparagus is softened. Then, add the milk dissolved with flour. Simmer until thickened.

Using an immersion blender (or a regular countertop blender), blend the soup until creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve with croutons on top, as well as a few drizzles of olive oil. Enjoy!
