Roast a whole head of garlic and roma tomatoes to bring out all the flavors.
Sauté onions, garlic, and herbs until softened and fragrant.
Add the roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic cloves, basil, canned tomatoes, and broth. Simmer for 25 minutes.
Using and immersion blender, blend soup until smooth and combined.
Add cream to taste and combine. Garnish with more cream, oil, and basil.
