Cook the ground beef or lamb un a skillet. Then sauté onions, garlic, spices, and herbs.

Return beef into skillet. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, flour, broth, and the vegetables. Simmer until thickened.

Spread mashed potatoes over the filling, creating swirls with a fork. Brush with butter and bake until golden brown.

Let the shepherd's pie cool slightly and serve with parsley for garnish on top.
