  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (or thawed, if frozen)
  • 2 cups red grapes
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice, plus more as needed (from about 2-3 oranges)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • Add all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil. Then, reduce heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, until thickened and cranberries have burst. The grapes may not burst entirely at this point.
  • Break a few grapes in half with a spoon if desired for smaller chunks and more sweetness.
  • Serve warm, or make ahead and reheat when needed. Or serve at room temperature, if desired.

  1. Use fresh cranberries. If frozen previously, thaw before using.
  2. For better flavors, use freshly squeezed orange juice.
