- 2 medium ripe avocados
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 large clove fresh garlic
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 large lime plus more to taste
- 3 to 4 tablespoons water or as needed to thin out the dressing
In a food processor, combine all the ingredients. Pulse and process until it’s smooth and fully combined, gradually adding water to thin it out.
Adjust to your preferred consistency. For example, if it's too thick, mix in some more water. If too thin, add in extra yogurt or avocado. And for an extra boost of flavor, use more cilantro, lime juice, or fresh garlic.
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
- Storage: Store in an airtight container, with plastic wrap directly touching the surface of the cream to prevent oxidation (browning). It will last 1-2 days in the fridge.
- I would not recommend freezing.
Substitutions and variations:
- Greek yogurt: Sour cream or regular plain yogurt.
- Lime: If you don’t have limes, lemons work just as well.
