These easy and refreshing watermelon slushies require only three natural ingredients. They are also very easy to customize. Perfect for hot summer days.
Remove the watermelon from the freezer, and let it sit on the counter for a few minutes so it's not so frozen. If the watermelon is too clumped together, hit it a few times with a rolling pin to break them apart.
In a blender, blend the frozen watermelon cubes with lime juice (to taste). As it blends, add cold water as needed to thin it out, otherwise it will be like shaved ice. Note: If your blender is too small, you can do it in parts. Also, if needed, loosen it up with a spoon, as sometimes it can get stuck in the bottom of the blender.
To serve, pour in a glass and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices, if desired. Serve immediately.
